Suet and Nectar
We generally think of seed for birds but suet and nectar are the favorite foods of several birds. Suet is rendered fat with other foods added, the most common additives are seeds, grain, peanut butter, peanuts, fruit, and dehydrated insects. Nectar is just sugar and water. You can get ready-to-use nectar or nectar mixes that just require adding water. Nectar is most commonly used for hummingbirds and orioles.
